In the early 1990s when the Hitler/Holocausting of students went into full effect, there was a 25% increase in the suicide rate for white students. The repetition of how the Germans knew the Holocaust was taking place and did nothing to stop it and how, when the movie, 'Schindler's List,' came out people believed that the Germans had gassed 9 million and had set up factories to turn their bodies into soap, had nothing to do with unlearning racism. As AIDs had been big news in the 1980s students weren't necessarily racist, they were homophobic.
If you went to high school in the 1990s all of your teachers knew that the homophobia floating around ended up being downloaded on good-looking skinny guys with dark or red hair and freckles.
With multiple groups of people who were oblivious to each other ganging up on individuals, it was something hard to track. As boys who fit in who had been racist in the past turned into gangsta rappers or conservatives, they played it forward: The valedictorian of my high school was obese with brown hair, green eyes, and his body was covered with boils.
They went on about Nazis and the Holocaust to the extent that guys had contempt for people who looked like Nazis and then had to feel sorry for those that looked like they'd get killed by the Nazis.
When I was in high school teachers would often say, for no reason, 'The reason the media doesn't report on teen suicide is to discourage copycats.'
It would take over 20 years of Hitler/Holocausting before they suddenly started publishing stories of gay teen suicides who you could look up on Facebook.
As Northern Europeans become minorities the rights of homosexuals becomes paramount. Why don't people with albinism or burn victims get the same sympathy from the media?
How much heterosexual teen suicide went into this?....
