Resort To Swearing When Kyoto Doesn't Work!


A German newspaper, ' The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung,' says that by pulling out of Kyoto, "Canada has revealed the farce behind the international agreement, which was more of an informal arrangement than a treaty with teeth." The accord was broken from the start with the former Liberal government failing to enact legislation to abide by after they originally signed onto it. By opting out, the Harper government has saved 14 billion dollars in penalties. Now we face international criticism from foreign governments like China and France, and from career delegates who love environmental summits because it gives them a chance to hobnob. But the worst criticism comes from home-from none other than Justin Trudeau.
